Participants with diseases volunteer to join studies to help others and advance science, but also have the possibility to receive the newest treatment and additional attention from our clinical trial staff during the study. Some studies offer a fair-market value payment for study-related time and travel. The amount paid varies for every study and sponsor. Studies often require several visits, each of which can involve payment depending on the study. The amount reimbursed for participating differs among studies and depends on complexity, length of the trial, and number of visits.
